It is time to get blogging again. After this morning at the Kings Hill Drive sandbagging location I realized that we have a great neighborhood. I was thrilled to see so many neighbors come together and assist in bagging the sand, moving the bags and then repeating the process again. Many of you spent hours through the Sunday night and early Monday morning to protect the homes from the swollen creek. Many grateful families are counting their blessings because of your willingness to contribute your time and energy to this pressing cause.
A small amount of organizing seems to go a long ways. We are still trying to get more block captains and complete our communication chain. I realize that there is still much work to be done and I would like to get feed back from the neighborhood. Be gentle... we are all volunteers. But I would like to know what worked and what needs improvement. Once again thank you for all your help and hang in there we still have more snow to melt.
